Who We Are
The Unitarian Universalist Funding Program (UUFP) is a denominational grantmaking program of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Inspired by the richness and diversity of our liberal religious tradition, the mission of the UUFP is to promote the influence of Unitarian Universalist principles through grantmaking.
With funds generously provided by the Unitarian Universalist Veatch Program at Shelter Rock, the UUFP awards grants to Unitarian Universalist (UU) and non-UU projects and organizations. Grants are made that:

Actions of Public Witness
Statewide Action Networks (SANS)
Get Out The Vote - Available again in 2018

- Support the work of social justice.
- Strengthen Unitarian Universalist institutions.
- Transform gratitude for being into generosity of living.
- Make Unitarian Universalism more visible in the world.
Grants are awarded through four Funds with distinct priorities and guidelines:
- Fund for Unitarian Universalism
Makes grants to grow and strengthen UU institutions and community life. - Fund for UU Social Responsibility
Makes grants to projects that increase UU involvement in social responsibility.
Additionally, this Fund has three special Matching Grants Programs. Each has unique application guidelines and application processes:

Get Out The Vote - Available again in 2018
- Fund for International Unitarian Universalism
Makes grants to strengthen Unitarian / Universalist organizations or projects working internationally. This Fund accepts applications ONCE A YEAR a year postmarked by March 15. If the 15th falls on a weekend, the deadline is the following Monday. - Fund for a Just Society
Makes grants to groups in the U.S. and Canada that have an active community organizing campaign that focuses on a specific systemic change for justice.
