Application Process for All Funds
UPDATE:
Friends!
Our new online application platform is live at our UUFP Funding Center.
Available applications are:
The Fund for a Just Society
The Fund for International Unitarian Universalism
The Fund for Unitarian Universalism
The Fund for UU Social Responsibility
The Fund for UU Social Responsibility - SPECIAL GRANTS
On the platform, you'll use your email address to create your user account. Setting up your User Account/Organization information may take more time than answering the application questions ~ and that's ok!
Once in the Funding Center, if you are not on the Application page, look for the "Apply" at the top of the window.
Select the appropriate fund's application, and begin composing! (Or pasting, if you have been drafting in a word processor.)
As you complete each section, you'll need to click "Save."
Remember to say yes to copying our budget forms FROM THE PORTAL to work on/download them on your computer. You will need to upload them when finished.
If you experience any difficulties, please email us at [email protected]
Thank you for your patience!

Please decide which Fund meets your needs.
Fund Cycles
Deadlines
Applications must be submitted via our online grant application portal.
The exact deadlines are noted in the portal.
The Spring Cycle (for all four of our Funds) applications are usually due in March.
The Fall Cycle (for only three of our Funds, the Fund for Unitarian Universalism, the Fund for Unitarian Universalist Social Responsibility and the Fund for a Just Society) applications are due in generally September or October. The date in the portal will always be correct.
*If the deadline falls on a weekend, the deadline is the following Monday. The deadlines are annual.
Important: It is our intention to only accept applications by our new, online portal. Online applications will allow us to notify you via email that we have received your application, when the panel will meet to review applications, and an approximate date by which you will be notified of the panel's decision.
Review Process & Timeline
Applications for grants for specific events must be submitted in a grant cycle at least six months prior to the event.
Panel meetings take place in May/June and November/December. Grant award letters are sent out soon thereafter.
Please consider this timeline as you plan your project and create your budget.
Due to the confidential material discussed and reviewed in our meetings, Panel meetings are not open to the public. With advance notice, however, we are happy to accommodate guests.
