Actions of Public Witness

The Fund for UU Social Responsibility has matching grants available of up to $1,500 to Unitarian Universalist congregations participating in actions of public witness. APW matching grants support UU congregations mobilizing at critical times to take action in a broad range of arenas of social and environmental justice.

These grants are available on a rolling basis and are for projects where the urgency of the action required is outside the ordinary time constraints of our regular grants.

These grants are not made to individuals. Actions of Public Witness are generally expected to be of short duration and of an unforeseen or urgent nature.

Unitarian Universalists have long been deeply involved in justice issues and acts of public witness. Please visit the websites www.uua.org/action and Standing on the Side of Love to find helpful resources and learn more about UU public advocacy campaign initiatives.

To Apply: Please visit the UUFP Funding Center and submit a grant to the Fund for UU Social Responsibility - SPECIAL GRANTS.  Decisions will be announced within three weeks.
