Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Funding Program

Announcements:
Friends!

Our online application platform was a big success for us last year!  With the amazing flexibility it has allowed us, we are changing the submission date for the Spring cycle of grants.  The deadline will be midnight (PDT) on the night of March 31st, 2021.

To submit an application, log in to the
UUFP Funding Center.

Once there, use your email address to login or create your user account.  If you don't remember whether you have one or not, simply try resetting your password.  You'll get a pop window asking for your email address.  If you don't have an account, it will say "No account found with that email address."  If you do have an account, it will email you a reset link.

If you did not have an account, don't be dismayed if s
etting up your User Account/Organization information takes more time than creating your application ~ that's really ok!

Once in the Funding Center, if you are not on the Application page, look for the "Apply" button at the top of the window.

Select the appropriate fund's application, and begin composing!

If the application or fund you seek is not there, it means we are not accepting applications for that fund at this time.  For instance, our GOTV fund is not currently available.  When we're ready to receive applications, it will be available.

In the meantime, to help you start crafting your proposal, links to templates are below for our most recent application questions with the character limits noted.  PLEASE DO NOT MAIL US ANYTHING.  WE WILL NOT GET IT.

Challenge Grant Awardees may use FAITIFY to fundraise

Picture
Many of our challenge grant recipients may now use FAITHIFY, Unitarian Universalism's crowdsourcing website, to fundraise for their challenge grants. Using FAITHIFY will allow you to activate your networks and connect with the larger UU community to raise these crucial challenge funds.
We want you to know that we are here to help. We've made posting a project on the site as simple as possible, and have documents and videos to help you every step of the way.

Go to faithify.org to get started. Let the faithifying begin!

A Note about the Grant Decision Process

  • Panel meetings are held  approximately two months after the application deadlines. Due to the confidential and financial information discussed in the deliberations, these meetings are not open to visitors.
  • Results of our meetings are posted on our website as soon as possible and are available by calling or e-mailing our offices.
  • UU Funding Program staff are happy to communicate via email with anyone who has questions or wants more information about our process and results.

Be a FANTASTIC Fundraiser for Your UU Cause!

We have been so fortunate to work with fundraising gurus Kim Klein and Stephanie Roth and The Rowe Center each fall to present a fundraising workshop, inviting recent grant recipients from the Fund for UUism and the Fund for UU Social Responsibility.  We are excited to share that The Rowe Center will offer the workshop again, virtually, in the fall of 2021!  The knowledge and skills gained are invaluable!  Watch this space or the website for The Rowe Center for new developments!
