We submitted our application.  What now?

The UUFP Funding Center will send you an automated email immediately after you submit your grant to confirm receipt.  We will contact you if we find you have omitted anything or something is amiss with the application.

Grant decisions are made approximately two and one half months after the application deadline, at the Panel meetings. All applicants are notified by email as quickly as possible of the decision.
  • Panel meetings are held in Boston 2 - 3 months after the application deadlines. Due to the confidential and financial information discussed in the deliberations, these meetings are not open to visitors.
  • Results of our meetings are posted on our website as soon as possible and are available by calling or e-mailing our offices.
  • UU Funding Program staff are happy to speak with anyone on the phone who has questions or wants more information about our process and results.
If a grant was made, an award letter will state the terms of the grant.  We will notify you via the UUFP Funding Center when INTERIM and FINAL REPORTS are due. All successful grantees are asked to acknowledge the support of the UU Funding Program in any communications, publications or publicity surrounding the project.

A CHALLENGE (MATCHING) GRANT will require the grantee to raise matching funds before they can claim their grant. Information about Challenge grants, what they are and how to claim them, will be included in grant notifications.
